  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cardiac Tele nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active ACLS, BLS and CA License.
      • Schedule Information
      • Travelers may be expected to float frequently.
      • Shifts/Hours: 12's; 7a - 7:30p/7p - 7:30a
      • Weekends: Every other weekend or equivalent of 4 weekend days in a 4 week schedule. Day Shift Weekend is Sat/Sun; Nights is Fri/Sat
      • Breaks: 1/2 hour break (clock-out); 3 - 15 min breaks per shift (CA Law)
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Ratios: 4:1 Both days/nights
        • Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients but assists staff nurses.
        • Type of patients: Telemetry unit/cardiac tele unit & intermittent COVID unit as needed.
        • Floating: Travel nurses float off the unit first, to MedSurg, all Tele units, and Burn ICU for MSTele patients only. Must be able to multi-task & have superb time management skills to be successful.
        • Needs to know how to administer cardiac drips.
          • Additional Details
          • Cerner experience needed.
          • Certs: BLS, ACLS.
